There is a new
icon on the CSC home page and that is the SWAT
NEWS icon on the top page tool bar. By
clicking on this, you will see up to date
information on the event, directions, schedules,
important notices and general facts or details
relating to this years event. Check the
site regularly so you can get up to the minute
information about the CT SWAT Challenge.
We are under two months away and look forward to
the best Challenge yet.
Remember, the
Vendor show runs from Tuesday September 9th
(9-5), to Wednesday September 10th (8-5) to
Thursday September 11th (8-12). As always,
it is FREE and open to all.
We have over 80 of the best and brightest in the
law enforcement supply and training world.
Be sure to come and check them out!
The dates for the
2008 Connecticut SWAT Challenge are set.
We are thrilled to announce that once again, we
will be staging this event Tuesday September
9th, Wednesday September 10th and Thursday
September 11th, 2008. As we are expecting
another strong and large field of teams, we
advise you now to mark your calendar and contact
us immediately to secure your spot.
Registration will begin soon so don't be left
out as we expect an overwhelming response.

The 3rd annual Connecticut SWAT
Challenge is over and the SWAT
community in the northeast should be
thrilled with their accomplishments.
In just our third year, we increased
the number of participating teams to
26, which makes it the 4th largest
SWAT competition in the United
States. Local SWAT teams, State
Police ERT units, Department of
Corrections SOG's, United States
Army and Air Force units and the
Federal Bureau of Prisons all
participated in this event. 2007
ushered in some great innovations
and unique events in order to create
the best SWAT Challenge in the
United States. There were 7
events in this years' challenge,
highlighted by the most grueling
physical fitness challenge in
ANY
SWAT or police event in
America. This 6.2 mile PT
challenge had 18 testing stations
along the course
which were all designed to test the
physical and mental fortitude of the
operators. Perhaps the
most
realistic individual single event
ever to be employed in a swat
challenge, the live fire linear bus
assault, drew raves from every
